We have been experiencing a record number of graffiti crimes in our city and neighborhood. This activity destroys our neighborhood's character and charm, not to mention the cost to the home owner and property values. It is vital that when graffiti goes up, we take it down immediately. Remember, graffiti is a crime and it must be taken seriously.

While this is a frustrating problem for all of us, there are a few things we can do to fend it off and remove it from our neighborhood. Below are a few suggestions:

  • Regularly scan your alleyways to see if new graffiti has been added.
  • Call Graffiti Busters (602-495-7014) immediately to report graffiti.
  • Fill out this permission slip to allow Graffiti Busters to cover the graffiti if you are unable to do so yourself. It's FREE. More info on the Graffiti Busters program can be found here.

Something to remember is that awareness and open communication with your neighbors helps guard against crime. Vigilance and communication are keys to fighting it.
