Pasadena Neighborhood Association

PNA: Who We Are, What We Do

Who we are

The Pasadena Neighborhood, a diverse central Phoenix neighborhood, embraces an association of concerned neighbors who have volunteered to help promote safety, security and quality-of-life issues for all members of our community.

The Pasadena Neighborhood Association is NOT a homeowners association, and we wield no power over personal property, or the use of such property. We are simply your neighbors attempting to help preserve the quality of life you all deserve.

What we do

As residents of the Pasadena Neighborhood Association (PNA) and Block Watch, we strive to secure a safe and attractive neighborhood by eliminating adverse activity and maintaining neighborhood preservation standards. The Association seeks to promote the best interests of the residents of the PNA. The PNA is involved in many community activities designed to maintain and improve our neighborhood, as well as bring all of our neighbors closer together. We have a Street Captain for nearly every street within our boundaries. We hold monthly association meetings, host neighborhood social gatherings throughout the year with various desserts and goodies, hold neighborhood garage sales and participate in National Night Out.

In the future, we also plan to apply for funding from the City of Phoenix to supply the citizens of the Pasadena Neighborhood with such safety items as smoke detectors, motion-detector porch lights, house identification numbers, security doors and automobile anti-theft devices all free-of-charge to our residents.

We publish a quarterly postcard that is mailed to everyone in the neighborhood with items of interest and concern to our community. We hold quarterly association meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Solano Elementary School located at 1526 W. Missouri. (parking lot off Montebello, meeting is in the library) There are guest speakers and information pertinent to our community. There is no charge and everyone is welcome. Please check our latest postcard to confirm dates and location.

Get involved

There are many ways to get involved. Come to any of the monthly meetings and hear all the latest happenings in the neighborhood or you can call one of our board members for information. Get involved, stay involved and make a difference in your neighborhood. It’s easy and it’s free.
